At the heart of this experience are Brandon DesJarlais and Jeff Corsi, two longboard legends who have been collaborating since 2015. From co-creating tutorials to teaching at skate camps across the world and launching an online longboard dancing course, their friendship has always been centered around sharing their love of skating with others. Now, they're bringing that vibe to Venice Beach.

Brandon DesJarlais
A lifelong skater, community builder, and coach, Brandon has spent years helping people unlock their potential on a board. From coaching at international longboard camps to leading Beyond the Board's national skate events, he brings a unique mix of technical expertise, silly-goose energy, and a deep passion for the sport. His mission? To make skating more accessible, joyful, and transformative for every rider.
Jeff Corsi
A world-class longboard dancer and instructor, Jeff is one of the leaders of DockSession — the biggest global community of longboard dancing. With an effortless style and a deep understanding of flow, he's taught thousands of skaters how to move with confidence and creativity. Jeff's energy, insight, and attention to detail will elevate every session on this retreat.

Day by Day Breakdown
Day 1 — Venice Vibes 🌅
Welcome to Venice Beach. Arrive and settle in before kicking things off with a guided skate tour through the heart of this iconic neighborhood. Get a feel for the local skate culture, soak in the energy, and connect with your fellow riders. As the sun dips into the ocean, unwind with rooftop drinks, then gather for a group dinner and social night — your first taste of the community ahead.
Day 2 — Find Your Flow 🛹
The day starts with a VIP visit to Loaded Boards HQ for exclusive insights into the brand and gear that fuels your ride. Next, step onto the board for a longboard dancing lesson with world-class instructors who'll refine your technique and style. The afternoon is yours — explore Venice at your own pace before we regroup for a mobility & yoga workshop.
Day 3 — Surf n Turf 🌊
Rise early and head to the water for a sunrise surf session. After drying off, hit the pavement for another longboard dancing session, refining your skills and unlocking new moves. The afternoon is all about free skating and filming — capture your progress, create content, and celebrate your growth. As night falls, we roll out in glowing style with the iconic Venice Electric Light Parade.
Day 4 — Final Flows & Farewells 🤙
Our last morning begins with a nourishing breakfast and one final longboard dancing session to bring everything together. Celebrate your progress, share your takeaways, and soak in the energy of your new skate family. We close the retreat with a heartfelt closing circle, leaving you with lasting connections, new skills, and memories to fuel your next adventure.
